Hallo,
Um mich etwas ausführlicher vorzustellen, fange ich mal ziemlich weit vorne an, weil ich denke, dass gerade auch diese Zeit eine größere Rolle für das spätere Leben spielt.
Als Kind fühlte ich mich in meinem privaten Umfeld grundsätzlich ernst genommen und so, wie ich war, akzeptiert. In der Schule konnte ich zwar viele neue Dinge lernen und entdecken, bekam jedoch auch den Eindruck, dass ich nur dann akzeptiert würde, wenn ich die Erwartungen der Lehrperson erfüllte. Zurückblickend war es für mich herausfordernd, mich in den beiden so unterschiedlichen Welten zu orientieren. Sie innerlich zusammenzubringen war mir kaum möglich und ich vermute, dass mir diese Herausforderung viel Kraft abverlangte. Eine innerliche Stärkung bekam ich in meinem dritten Schuljahr, als ich mehrere Monate mit meiner Familie in Portugal verbrachte und eine kleine portugiesische Schule besuchte. Ich denke, die Kraft entfaltete sich durch ein Empfinden innerlicher Freiheit und Sicherheit, frei ein- und ausatmen und meinen Interessen folgend die Welt entdecken zu können.
Solche Kraftquellen fand ich danach immer wieder. Es waren Empfindungen, die ich schwer mit Worten benennen kann. Am ehesten passen solche wie Vertrauen, Weite, Freiheit, Selbstwirksamkeit, Geborgenheit, Verständnis, Zufriedenheit und Verbundenheit. Eine tiefe Verbundenheit mit mir selbst und mit anderen, mit mir und der Welt. Etwas sachlicher gesagt verhalfen mir die Erfahrungen zu mehr Selbstsicherheit bzw. -bewusstsein. 😊
Außer der Erfahrung, durch solche äußeren und inneren Begegnungen wieder mehr Lebenskraft zu gewinnen, merkte ich auch, dass, wie nebenbei, meine schulischen Leistungen besser wurden. Dadurch erfuhr ich, wie sehr meine persönliche Verfassung meinen Lernprozess beeinflusste.
Nach dem Abitur 2007 leistete ich Zivildienst in einer anthroposophischen Schule. Hier kam ich zum ersten Mal mit der Lehre Steiners und möglichen Umsetzungen dieser in Kontakt. Diese Erfahrungen baute ich zwischen 2021 und 2023 durch meine Lehrtätigkeit an der Freien Waldorfschule Jena sowie berufsbegleitenden waldorfpädagogischen Fachkursen für den Klassenlehrerbereich in Kassel weiter aus. Wertvoll finde ich hier nach wie vor die Ganzheitlichkeit und Tiefe der Betrachtung der Kinder und Jugendlichen, wie sie in der phänomenologischen Didaktik und fachlichen Inhaltsauswahl sowie in intensiven Kinderbetrachtungen zum Ausdruck kommt. Ausdrücklich auf Distanz gehe ich dagegen mit jeglichen menschenverachtenden Äußerungen Steiners.
Nach meinem Zivildienst, Auslandsaufenthalten und meinem Umzug nach Jena arbeitete ich unter anderem als Schulbegleiter in einem Gymnasium, bevor ich mich dann 2010 entschied, Sport und Geographie auf Lehramt für Gymnasien, ebenfalls in Jena, zu studieren. Die Entscheidung dafür war – rückblickend – das Ergebnis eines Konglomerats aus verschiedenen Dingen. Meine Hauptmotive waren die Freude am Entdecken und Lernen und die Möglichkeit, an der sich verändernden Schullandschaft teilhaben zu können sowie andererseits auch die Option, auf Basis der Ausbildung beruflich ebenso in weitere Bereiche, wie Erwachsenenbildung, Beratung, Supervision u. Ä., gehen zu können.
Vor und während meines Studiums lernte ich durch Berichte und Besuche sowie Praktika andere Schulformen kennen. Am meisten beeindruckten mich sogenannte ‚demokratische Schulen‘, die angelehnt an das Sudbury Valley – Konzept organisiert sind, weil hier der Eindruck, Kinder und Jugendliche als vollwertige und aktive Gestalter des eigenen Lebensweges anzusehen, für mich am meisten spürbar war. Ich war in diesem Zusammenhang auch in Schulgründungsinitiativen aktiv.
Spannend und herausfordernd fand ich außerdem den wundervollen Moment, Vater zu werden. Besonders als Vater, aber auch in meiner dreijährigen Arbeit als Schulbegleiter an einer Montessorischule sowie in meinem weiteren beruflichen Weg (Referendariat und Lehrer) stellte und stelle ich immer wieder erstaunt fest, wie weit gedankliche Überzeugungen und gelebte Praxis auseinanderliegen können, dass ‚schlaue Worte‘ nicht unbedingt zu ‚schlauem Handeln‘ führen, dass neue Situationen neues Handeln erfordern und systemische und institutionelle Kräfte, wie die Schule, wirksam sind und die Handlungsfreiheit sowohl einschränken, als auch erweitern können. So sehe ich mich auf meinem Berufs—und Lebensweg als Suchender und Lernender aber auch als Gebender und Nehmender, grundsätzlich wohlwollend und auf Gleichwertigkeit bedacht.
Mein Anspruch im täglichen Begleiten der Kinder und Jugendlichen liegt grundsätzlich darin, dass sie sich so angenommen fühlen, wie sie sind und das entfalten können, was in ihnen schlummert. Ich möchte sie darin unterstützen, ihre Interessen entdecken und vertiefen zu können.
Immer wieder auch komme ich zu der Überzeugung, dass jeder Mensch eine Stimme in sich trägt, die ihm mitteilt, was kohärent, was stimmig ist. Ich möchte gern Kindern und Jugendlichen eine möglichst hilfreiche Stütze dafür sein, diese je eigene Stimme zu hören und ihr zu vertrauen. Ich denke außerdem, wer achtsam, aufrichtig und wohlwollend mit sich selbst umgeht, der geht am ehesten auch ebenso mit anderen um. Und ich denke, dies ist die beste Basis dafür, sich mit seiner Umwelt zu verbinden, an ihr interessiert zu sein, sich aktiv einzubringen und die Welt kreativ, konstruktiv und lebensbejahend mitzugestalten. Diesen Weg meine ich in der Talschule weiter gehen und begleiten zu können.
Ich verstehe mein Wirken in der Talschule so, dass es verschiedene konkrete Formen annehmen kann, wobei ich eine vertrauensvolle und stabile Beziehung zu den Kindern und Jugendlichen für unerlässlich halte. Auf dieser Basis scheint es mir möglich zu sein, je nach Situation und Bedürfnissen Türen zu öffnen und Räume zu halten, in denen sich die Kinder und Jugendlichen wahrnehmen, entfalten und aufrichten können zu sich selbst. Ansprechende Umgebungen zu schaffen und mitzugestalten, in denen sie auf Entdeckungsreise gehen und sich auf ihre je eigene Weise den Dingen der Welt widmen können, halte ich für ebenso wertvoll. Außerdem möchte ich sie unterstützen in der Herausforderung, mit den eigenen Anliegen sowie mit denen der anderen möglichst so umzugehen, dass alle die Chance auf ein gutes Leben haben. Dabei möchte ich ihnen auf Augenhöhe, warmherzig, offen und interessiert begegnen, wohlwissend meine eigenen Perspektiven und Unvollkommenheiten mithineinzubringen. Für all dies halte ich einen offenen und ehrlichen Austausch mit den Eltern bzw. Erziehungsberechtigten sowie Selbstbetrachtungen, Teaminterventionen, Supervisionen und Weiterbildungen als unerlässlich und hilfreich. In diesem Sinne freue ich mich auf die täglichen Herausforderungen.
